Thornycroft Groundworks was introduced to us by a timber yard in Hinckley. Anthony came and quoted as promised and a new fence was put in place efficiently, on time and at the price quoted.
We then asked him to rebuild a step to our conservatory, relay some slabs, renew some pointing and refit some ridge tiles which he did to our satisfaction.
When our drive needed to be redone we had no hesitation in contacting Anthony. He spent a lot of time discussing the possibilities and prices for several solutions. When we were ready, after changing our minds several times, he carried out the work needed in a timely fashion, at the price quoted and we have a drive and step in our porch with which we are very happy.
Our back fence had always worried us as our garden is considerably higher than our neighbours, and was gradually sliding down hill. It required a sturdy fence. Anthony recommended concrete posts with 30 inches of gravel board at the base to hold back our soil. It was not a straight forward job as we have trees along that border. We accepted his quote and he carried out the work on time and to budget.
Anthony is a hard worker who is not afraid to try different techniques. He listened to what we wanted and came up with good ideas. He worked efficiently in a timely fashion and left our property tidy, removing all waste materials.
